Michael Boardman is an associate at Russ August & Kabat, where he is a member of the firm's intellectual property and litigation groups.

Mr. Boardman graduated from Loyola Law School cum laude and a member of the honor society Order of the Coif. While in law school Mr. Boardman served as an editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles International & Comparative Law review and is the author of multiple articles, including, Digital Copyright Protection and Graduated Response: A Global Perspective, 33 Loy. L.A. Int'l & Comp. L. Rev. [xx] (forthcoming 2011), Constitutional Conditions: Regulating Independent Political Expenditures by Government Contractors after Citizens United, 10 Fla. St. U. Bus. Rev. 25 (2011), and California's Living Originalism (L.A. Daily Journal, May 20, 2011). Mr. Boardman also worked as an extern to the Honorable Philip S. Gutierrez, District Judge in the Southern District of California, the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, and the Motion Picture Association of America.

Before law school Mr. Boardman earned a Bachelor's degree in English from Yale University, where he was a pitcher on the varsity baseball team.
